Islam Grotto Funsters Clown Unit is probably the only unit of the Grotto that has been around since the birth of The Grotto here in Pittsburgh in 1911. There are currently about 20 members and always room for more. Funsters participate in parades, hand out toothbrushes, as well as promoting the Grottoes charities. All new members get help from current members in determining what kind of makeup to use and are taught by the experts how to tie balloons, as all good clowns can do. Being a clown has never been so rewarding and fun, we always welcome new members. See someone or ask around, you'll be directed to the nearest "clown" for help.

HEY! The Funsters are available for hire to any event, and all proceeds from all events attended by the Funsters go towards The Grotto's charities. So to have 1, 2, 3 or WOW! 4 or 5 clowns come and help you celebrate or just to have fun, contact the clown with no frown, ROWDY. He will be glad to get the ball rollin for you.
